Prayer is the strength and foundation of the church. The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church following God’s directive. It is through prayer that we speak directly to God and can petition him on our behalf, and on behalf of others (Phil. 4:6).

You can "get connected" in many different ways:

• PRAYER CHAIN - "Chains" of prayer warriors who lift up the needs of those who call in prayer requests - prayer is then offered on th spot!



• SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER MEETING - Meets at 9:30AM in the balcony.  This team prays for the Sunday morning ministries and the upcoming worship service.



• WEEKLY NOON PRAYER - Meets every Thursday from 12-2PM at the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM), 31-65 46th Street, (718) 204-6471.



• MID-WEEK PRAYER OASIS - Meets every Wednesday night at 7:30PM. Join us for a "mid week re-fueling" - a special time of Worship and Prayer to encourage you in your faith and resore your strength for the journey. Children & Youth ministries also available for your kids!



• INTERCESSORY PRAYER MINISTRY - The Intercessory Prayer Ministry provides a covering for every leader and ministry at Evangel.  Intercessory Prayer opportunities include:



• Monthly Prayer and Fasting
  



• Sunday Service Intercessors:  Team members intercede during the morning service each week, praying for God's anointing and His presence, while lifting up the pastors, worship team, children's ministries, and congregation.
