Although born in Puerto Rico, Pastor Andy was raised in the Bronx, NYC.  After graduating High School, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force assigned to security and special investigations.
Honorably discharged in 1979, Pastor Andy joined the U.S. Postal Service and he and his wife Evelyn dedicated their lives to Christ and have served in ministry throughout the City.
The Lord called them to Evangel in 1985.  Although still working for the Postal Service, Pastor Andy was soon serving our Youth Department, first as a Sunday school teacher, then as Youth Director.  He was appointed to our Board of Elders in 1989 where he has faithfully served over the years.
In 2002 he retired from the U.S. Postal Service and joined our church staff.  He currently serves as Pastor of Worship and Adult Education.
